Aligning times on 3 monthly schedules
Abstract
3 monthly printed schedules include the time of appointment inside the box for the day. The vertical alignment of this time can be adjusted to get the best results on different printers. This knowledgebase article explains how to adjust the vertical alignment of the time.
Underlying challenge
The vertical alignment is measured in TWIPS. TWIPS are a device independent measure of distance, and usually equate to approximately 1/1000th of an inch. The default setting is 200. Typically, the desired result can be achieved by changing the setting to somewhere between 50 and 400.
Resolution
To change the vertical alignment of the time, follow these steps:
Go to Setup|Settings.
Go to the Other tab.
Click on the Calendars System Component.
Click on the Time Vertical Offset setting.
Change the value accordingly.
Close the window (there is no need to apply).
